How I Write My Blogs In Emacs and Publish Instantly

1. Setting Up Your System

  1. Download Emacs
  2. Download Neomgr and add it to your Elisp folder
  3. Follow the instructions in the Neomgr repo to load the lisp and set your credentials.

2. The Publishing Workflow

  1. Write in whatever format you want (I use org-mode).
  2. Render to an HTML file (this is why I use org-mode).
  3. Run neomgr-upload and select the file you're publishing.

3. Final Thoughts

This setup takes no work at all1, and the payoff is enormous. Once it's all set up, this workflow fades into the background - I just write, save, and publish. No friction, no fees, and everything stays in my hands2. If you're looking for a sane way to blog, this is the only way to do it.

Break the curve!
